Recently my friend Kelly,  has inspired me to reflect more on hormonal health. So today I thought I would share with you 1 yoga pose that can support your ovaries and the balance of your estrogen and progesterone.

Your ovaries keep your reproductive system running smoothly and a balance of estrogen and progesterone hormones. Unfortunately chronic stress and exposure to toxic chemicals can lead to imbalances in our estrogen and progesterone levels.

Today we are going to practice wide-angle seated forward fold with a twist (parsva upavistha konasana). The gentle twisting action of this pose will help to improve circulation to your pelvis, regulate menstrual flow and stimulate your ovaries, balancing estrogen and progesterone.

Rest in this pose for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, in the middle and on each side.
