Can Yoga Help with a Baker’s Cyst?

Bakers CystsToday’s question comes to us from Charlotte from the membership site:  I have a bakers cyst behind one knee I’ve been doing a lot of hamstring stretching is there anything in yoga that can help.

Dear Charlotte

Unfortunately no, there is nothing that yoga can do to help with cysts, you have to go to your medical doctor to get them to release the fluid. Once you have received the appropriate medical attention you can practice the yoga for knee videos available on our membership site. Yoga for Knees (both the long and short videos. Also the Foot connective Tissue video would probably be incredibly helpful.

Here are links to videos in the membership area that might prove useful following surgery. Yoga for knee classes as well as the shorter one on the membership site to address the underlying issues that created the problem in the first place. Also the hand and foot classes will help as well – especially the foot one. 🙂 Namaste, Melissa
