Balancing Yoga with Cardio

Hi Melissa. I’m wondering if you can offer some advice on balancing cardio with yoga practice in any given week – just in reference to the general pursuit of good health? Thanks!

I would say you want to get in cardio three times a week in the general pursuit of good health. Remember to have fun with this and not make it a grueling effort. My friend Michelle was here the other day and she was telling me about all the fun things she has been doing for cardio – iron man, obstacle courses, triathlons … nothing traditional and boring like running on a treadmill! I like getting out for walks in nature and riding my bike by beautiful lake Ontario.
