Dressember

dressemberWe began the vlog this week filming Yoga with Melissa 360, a class on How to Balance in Half Moon Balancing Pose. In this class we talked about how our energy is not always constant and how it waxes and wanes, just like the moon depending on the time of day, phase of the moon and the seasons. You can check that class out here. (link)

We had an exciting mailtime this week. Thank you to Becky and Hannah for your beautiful care packages. If you are interested in Hannah’s papers you can get them here: (link)
For those of you who are members and want to know more about Becky’s story, definitely watch her interview here: (link)

Dressember is going really well.

Thank you for all your support 🙂 So far our team has raised almost $400. I’ve raised just over $100 thanks to Hannah Gilley, Lisa McGibbon and Laura Moyer. And special thanks to Madeline Hilde, one of my yoga students and members to join our team 🙂 You can join our team or support us financially here: (support or join here)

Jenn Ashton and I are giving away art. If you donate you will be entered into a draw to win some of our art.

I filmed a beginner yoga class for Yoga with Kassandra’s channel this week. She is a fellow Canadian instructor who lives in Ottawa (sorry I got that wrong in the video!) She is going to be doing a beginner yin yoga video for my channel so watch for that 🙂

On Saturday evening we went to the 2016 IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive in Victoria B.C..  The Victoria Harbour was all lit up for Christmas. It was a rainy night but that didn’t dampen our spirits. 🙂

Linzi was visiting family in Victoria for Christmas and so I got to have West Coast Bennies with her at Bubby’s Kitchen in Cook Street Village.  If you aren’t already following your friend Linzi from Live Meditation classes on Monday nights, then here is her instagram
Also here is the link to Live Meditation class on Mondays for members.

By the way, I apologize, it looks like I put my mascara on in the dark on sunday morning! What happened?!

Thanks for watching, please give the videos a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. See you next week.

Namaste, Melissa
