how-to-get-the-most-out-of-your-yoga-postures-blipand she says, “Hi Melissa I have a question, when.doing yoga positions if your form isn’t right on do you still receive great benefits or do you lose a lot because I try to my form right but I know some times its off.”

This is a great question Diane, thank you for asking it. I think it speaks to the importance for those who do classes online of going to classes in a studio from time to time. It is important to check your form with a real live yoga teacher who can look at your body and make sure you are doing your postures correctly. I can’t see through the screen and know what you are doing. Check out your local yoga studios. Combine your online at home practice with a once a week studio class or monthly workshops. This is a great way to check in on your yoga practice. Another thing you could do is have a private one on one lesson with a local yoga instructor. This way you would get one on one attention for poses that you aren’t sure about and specific feedback about your form. This is what yogis used to do back in the day. They would practice at home and they would go for regular check ins with their teachers. I hope that helps Diane.
