Yoga Alternative Poses

Problems-Lying-on-Back-VideoToday’s Question comes from Carina on YouTube about Yoga 101 Yoga for Beginner’s

This is a great video so far, I’m about 20 minutes in and having problems with lying on my back. I have a tailbone that really sticks out. A lot. It makes it almost impossible to do any kind of leg lifting while on my back without a lot of pain from my tailbone digging into the floor (the mat doesn’t help at all). If I stick a big pillow under my tailbone would it throw the poses off? I’m at a loss, what can I do to help this problem?
peace.

This is a great question Carina, you can do the same movements that you were doing lying on your back from your side. I’ll do a video to show you on my Living Your Yoga channel. But that is a great way to modify your yoga poses, to simply change your orientation to gravity. Thanks for asking. Namaste, Melissa
