In today’s video I Interviewed Donna from Squeezed Yoga clothing about the benefits of Bamboo.

Benefits-of-BambooBamboo is a natural resource that is renewable. Because bamboo grows so quickly, it is a renewable resource. Also since bamboo has no pests, bamboo is grown with the use of little or no pesticides or herbicides. Bamboo plantations can easily be kept organic and replanted every year.

Bamboo is hypoallergenic for those with sensitive skin, wearing this kind of fabric is a great choice. For those people who are allergic to other natural fibers such as hemp or wool, bamboo can often be a great alternative.

Bamboo has a unique antibacterial qualities. The antimicrobial bio-agent called “bamboo kun” is found in the fiber making it naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal and odor resistant. Bamboo fabric also has excellent wicking properties and so it is able to pull moisture away from your skin so that it can evaporate.
