Yoga for Damaged or Injured Ankle

Today’s question comes to us from Donna from yogayak
I have damaged my ankle and cannot do many of the standing poses. What would you recommend?

I would recommend my beginner’s series class on the preparatory poses. This class has a long introductory section that is all lying down.

In fact many of my classes start lying down and would give you plenty of content to work with while your ankle recovers. You could fast forward over the standing postures and join us again when we are lying down or sitting down again. Link
