A new video available November 1st, 2012!

Yoga for the SI Joint (Sacroiliac)
This yoga video will cover off four major questions. What is sacroiliac pain? Why do so many yogi’s have SI (sacroiliac) joint problems? How to rehabilitate from SI joint problems. And finally how to move forward with yoga once you have rehabilitated from an SI joint injury. First of all, what is sacroiliac pain? SI pain is not to be confused with sciatica which radiates down your leg. Sacroiliac pain associated with yoga is localized pain about the size of a quarter which occurs on one side of your pelvis only. This video will open by explaining why so many yoga poses bring the pelvis out of alignment and cause SI joint problems. From there we will move into yoga postures which will help to strengthen and re-stabilize the SI joint. The final part of the video will re-teach you how to do standing postures, twists and forward folds without torquing your pelvis and re-injuring your SI joint as you move forward with your yoga practice. This video is a must for any seasoned yoga practitioner who would like to continue their yoga practice pain free for years to come.
